The amazing Girl Scout Troop 27297 from Shakopee, MN, chose a Flora Makes Me Smile Experience to earn their Comic Artist Badge, and I'm thrilled to share here some precious moments from our virtual event (a special Thank You to Teresa V. for these photos and for the invitation!).

The workshop will touch on the following points:
- STORY - CHARACTER STUDY&DESIGN
- COMPOSITION
- ENVIRONMENT

- COLORS
The participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating one comic panel (a drawing that represents one moment of the story they want to tell).
According to your schedule and preference, the session may last 1 hour or 1.5 hours.
Examples, prompts, templates, references, and tips will be provided, so no specific skill is required.
While the attendees are going to make their own art piece, the focus will be primarily on the process, not necessarily on the final illustration - this experience aims to spark interest in visual storytelling and may serve as an engaging and hands-on introduction to the comic art world!
