Tiny Treasures, Big Smiles: Our WonderCon Adventure

WonderCon 2025 was my very first experience exhibiting at a big show, and… wow!

Having a table in Artists' Alley was truly something special for me.

Preparing for it was a whole new experience, too. Unlike my usual local events, this time I had to include traveling and logistics to my planning, create a portable display, and pack just the right amount of inventory. I flew in the day before the event started, and it was a mix of excitement, to-do lists, bubble wrap, and a little extra creativity and coordination - with just my two hands moving three suitcases and a box delivered on-site :-D - totally worth it!

Right after I arrived, I made sure to spend a bit of time enjoying the enchanting atmosphere of Anaheim, CA, wandering around, capturing colorful details, and breathing in the magic.

To make the show even more memorable, I decided it was the perfect occasion to introduce two brand-new Flora Makes Me Smile® creations - which people ended up loving!!!

💌 POCKET WHISPERS – Big messages in mini cards!

I’ve always loved the idea of heartfelt notes that can be kept close. Each Pocket Whisper features a special Flora design on the outside and a blank space inside for your personal message. The person who receives it can carry it in their bag, wallet, or pocket—keeping your words with them wherever they go.

Flora and her tiny world are here to bring smiles!

Watching kids and grown-ups light up while exploring Flora's world - and meeting Flora herself for the first time - was magical.

I had so many lovely conversations, received thoughtful feedback, and shared genuine moments of connection. A special thank you to Amy Wagner for featuring my work in her Stuart NG Books blog - it was such a sweet surprise!

I also had the chance to meet other artists and creators, which is always incredibly inspiring.

And oh—the parade of costumes and cosplayers was unbelievable! It felt like being immersed in a fantasy world, where superheroes, animated icons, and beloved characters from movies, comics, cartoons, and pop culture were all gathering for a giant party!

To everyone who stopped by our table, brought home a tiny piece of Flora, or simply took a moment to chat with me—thank you. 🥰 Knowing that so many Flora Makes Me Smile® creations are now out in the world, spreading love and positivity, fills me with purpose, gratitude, and excitement.

After three days surrounded by countless forms of creativity – and receiving heartfelt appreciation myself – I chose one of our Little Reminders as a takeaway from WonderCon 2025 to pass along: keep being you and share your universe - THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR IDEAS! 🧡
